Photo Caption: "Much more modern is Pennsylvania's K-4 Pacific No. 2034, which hauls the crack 'Del-Mar-Va Express' from New York City through Delmar, Del. (where it is shown), to the Norfolk Ferry at Cape Charles, Va." Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2034 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1917 and retired in April of 1950 after 33 years of faithful service. |
