Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 2-10-4 Class M-4 6327 stored at Beardstown, Illinois sometime in 1931, photograph postcard by P. H. Stringham, Louis Zadnichek collection. Number 6327 was built by Baldwin in May 1929 ( c/n 60806 ) and was equipped with 31 X 32 cylinders and 64" drivers. In August 1934 it was fitted with 28 X 32 cylinders, roller bearings, lightweight rods, and re-classed M-4-A. It was sold for scrap in May 1961. |
