Description:  Blackhawk. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken near Jamaica, New York, on 16 October 1963. Photo Caption: "FM CPA24-5, Long Island #2401. Jamaica, N.Y. 10-16-63." Long Island Rail Road #2401 is a FP24-SC built by Fairbanks-Morse in March of 1951 and rated at 2,400 horsepower. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Fairbanks-Morse and Lima Diesels ~ Eastern and Canadian Roads" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (902-43).
